This is not the same disease in each person.
We don’t believe each neurodegenerative disease is one disease with one cause and one solution. Nor do we think ‘one size fits all’ drug treatment are the most sensible approach.
Our own data indicates that these diseases occur differently in different people.
This means that finding a solution will require a much more personalised mode of thinking.
We are focused on understanding the genetics of neurodegenerative diseases, starting with Motor Neuron Disease, through deep genomic phenotyping to understand the commonalities and differences between individuals.
We comprehensively analyse individual patient genomes, integrating transcriptome, proteome and epigenetics, to provide a complete profile of the genetics underlying disease.
